National Aluminium Company has axed its aluminium ingot and aluminium products prices, with effect from September 27, following a cut of INR 2,500 per tonne ten days ago. NALCO’s aluminium ingot price has seen a slash of INR 7,300 per tonne to come in at INR 203,450-206,950 per tonne versus INR 210,750-214250 per tonne on September 17. Alba and KCC extend affreightment contract for four years to carry alumina from Australia to Bahrain
Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. LB Aluminium Bhd announces fourfold surge in net profit to RM12.51 million for 1QFY23

China customs data found the country’s prebaked anode exports stood at 141,600 tonnes in August 2022, which reflected a downfall of 31.43 per cent month-on-month and an increase of 6.99 per cent year-on-year. According to China customs data, the country’s aluminium extrusion (HS code 76041010, 76041090, 76042100, 76042910, 76042990) export volume amounted to 81,800 tonnes in August 2022, registering a month-on-month fall of 11,500 tonnes or 12.4 per cent and a year-on-year drop of 3.42 per cent. Guangdong was the leading exporter of extrusion, accounting for 51.9 per cent of the total exports. Shandong contributed 17.1 per cent to the total exports, while Guangxi 6.2 per cent.
