
On Friday, February 11, Aluminium Stewardship Initiative announced that it certified BORBET Group against the Performance Standard Certification for the manufacture of aluminium alloy wheels at facilities including Medebach (Germany), Ranshofen (Austria), Solingen (Germany), Bad Langensalza (Germany), Port Elizabeth (South Africa) and Kodersdorf (Germany) as well as Corporate Headquarters at Hesborn, Germany.

ASI added the Group successfully bagged the certification for responsible production, sourcing, and stewardship of aluminium with a focus on material stewardship. BORBET Group’s primary product is aluminium alloy wheels for passenger automobiles.

These activities and systems demonstrate BORBET Group’s commitment to the material stewardship of aluminium.”
The independent, third-party audit of the BORBET Group operations was carried out by GUTcert (AFNOR Group).
