Ardagh Metal Packaging Group (AMP), a global supplier of sustainable, infinitely recyclable aluminium packaging to brand owners across the globe, bagged the Best Metal Design recognition at the 21st World Beverage Innovation Awards. The ceremony was hosted this week at BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, commemorating the greatest beverage sector advancements.
AMP is elated to have won the Best Metal Design category for their Candy Can with H!GHEND technology, which displays vivid images on the can end. An eco-friendly option with fewer calories, this sugar-free aluminium canned soft drink line is the brainchild of the innovative Dutch beverage firm Candy-Can, aiming to entice risk-takers.
Gerlof Toenhake, Sales Director, Ardagh Metal Packaging-Europe, stated, "To win Best Metal Design at the World Beverage Innovation Awards is a fantastic achievement, among strong competition. We are incredibly proud of Candy Can, particularly in terms of its strong creative and sustainability credentials."
The Candy Can cans, composed of aluminium, are as colourful and wild as the goods inside; the crisply printed, multi-coloured images evoke a candy store and a fairground. The distinctive H!GHEND can end is a key component of the overall design of the pack.
AMP's cutting-edge H!GHEND series allows for immediate brand distinction at the can's apex with stunning high-definition printed graphics that fully envelop the whole shell, including the side wall. The CANDY CAN collection has six distinct AMP H!GHEND designs, each representing a different flavour: Bubblegum, Marshmallow, Rocket Ice Lolly, Cotton Candy, Sour Apple and Birthday Cake with sprinkles on top.
