The volume of the order stretching over several years, which AMAG agreed to on January 1 2013, comes up to € 100m, as announced by the company.

AMAG and EADS have been cooperating since 2005. The current agreements involve the supply of aluminium plates, sheets and foils for the recent Airbus aircraft model. The company’s location Ranshofen is currently being expanded at an investment amount of € 220m to further develop the business in the transport section (air transport and automobile) and lightway construction. The portfolio is expanded too by increased thickness and width even for high-strength products in the aviation industry.

AMAG intends to present its product portfolio for high-strength plates and sheets for the aviation industry at the 50th International Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, which will take place from June 17 to 23.
