The wheel manufacturer in the Indre, France, Alvance Wheels will supply more than 35,000 aluminium wheels each year for the caravan market.
The only manufacturer of aluminium wheels in France, Alvance Wheels (formerly – Liberty Wheels) is facing the economic crisis due to the pandemic in the best possible way. However, production has gradually resumed since the end of August’20 for the 287 employees of the Diors plant. In this context, the signing of a new contract is excellent news. On 21st September’20, the group announces its collaboration with Tyre-Line Original Equipment, the leader in wheel and tyre assemblies for caravans and leisure vehicles, on the British and European markets.
More than 35,000 aluminium wheels will have to be supplied each year. For Alvance Wheels, this is an opportunity to diversify its customers outside of Renault and Peugeot.
Roberto Avelli, Managing Director, Alvance Aluminum Wheels, has confirmed the news and said: "We are delighted to be partnering with Tyre-Line. It is a partnership that means not only a new customer for us but also a new line of business.”
Edward Musson, Managing Director, Tyre-Line also expresses his satisfaction: “We needed to find a supplier who had design expertise, as well as the adaptability and flexibility to produce and ship our orders quickly. Alvance Wheels has all of these qualities and got down to the job very quickly.”
The recovery in the automotive sector is still obviously fragile. The machine should gradually restart. "The volumes are still not there and we have a big uncertainty for the next few weeks. For the moment, we do not see a big evolution and a big restart on the productions" said Roberto Avelli.
