Aluminium for the road: Kenda Americana unveils major trailer wheel expansion

Kenda Americana Tire and Wheel, the American segment of the brand, has announced a major expansion of its trailer wheel portfolio. Expanding the aluminium wheel and the Dexstar range, the launch would reinforce Kenda’s presence across the recreational vehicle (RV) and trailer segments.

The new additions to the portfolio include three aluminium alloy wheel models of AM05, AM08, and AM09 aluminium trailer wheels, and two finish options under the Dexstar range, viz., Nardo Grey and Black with Red Stripes.

The AM05 Aluminium Trailer Wheel strikes a balance between contemporary design and strength and durability. Made from lightweight A356 automotive-grade aluminium alloy, it features a harmony of rugged appearance and shine.

The AM08 Aluminium Trailer Wheel introduces Kenda Americana’s first white aluminium wheel finish. Offered in both white machined and black machined variants, it incorporates a directional spoke pattern influenced by current automotive styling trends. Its lightweight profile and powder-coated finish are aimed at enhancing both durability and functionality.

For customers seeking a more rugged appearance for their adventures and expeditions, the AM09 Aluminium Trailer Wheel is the ideal choice. It has been developed for off-road, overlanding, marine and camping trailer applications. The wheel features styling cues inspired by off-road vehicles while maintaining durability for rough environments.

The Nardo Grey finish brings a contemporary automotive-inspired appearance to the trailer segment. With a sleek and aesthetic finish, it provides OEMs and dealers with an option to stylise their products.

The Black with Red Stripes finish combines black wheel styling with dual red accent lines, designed to enhance visual appeal while reflecting performance-oriented styling trends.

According to Kenda Americana, the aluminium alloy and Dexstar line-up is aimed at enhancing product availability while providing OEMs, distributors and customers with greater flexibility in wheel selection.
