Aluminium finds use in newly launched gadgets for personal use

Onkyo's H900Ms are a closed pair of over-ear cans and cost £230. Like the brand's earlier bestseller A800s, H900Ms also use 50mm drivers with aluminium housings.
Aimed at the portable market, there's an extra-wide headband for added comfort. They're finished in black and gold, a colour scheme that features across the entire new range. The H500M (£130) on-ears feature 40mm drivers in a rigid aluminium housing and a claimed frequecy range of 7Hz to 40kHz. The gadget also packs in an in-line mic and a remote in its standard version.
Sony has launched an aluminium-body mobile projector. The gadget is a short-throw, pocket-sized projector that delivers 1080p HD resolution images. It can display a screen size of up to 120 inches at a distance of 3.45 metres. It has a built-in speaker and can be used for home and mobile entertainment, business presentations and for displaying content from smartphones and tablets.
The mobile projector can connect to a source by HDMI, to a mobile device using MHL (mobile high-definition link) or use screen mirroring to display content from a smartphone, tablet device or PC via wi-fi. It has an aluminium body with a matt finish and a 3400mAh battery that delivers up to 120 minutes of HD playback.
