Dudley's Aluminium, a fabricator based in Wales, has recently announced securing another project in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. The company will work alongside Barnwood Ltd on the Nebula development, consisting of three buildings and seven research and development units.
The development aims to meet the 'Excellent' BREEAM sustainability standards and is targeting an A-rated Energy Performance Certificate. A noteworthy feature of this project is the use of sustainably sourced glue-laminated timber in each of the buildings, which adds to the project's eco-friendliness.
The upcoming building structures will be designed with vaulted ceilings to accommodate large-scale laboratories and high-tech engineering equipment. Additionally, Dudley's will install both manually and remotely operated aluminium windows, along with commercial doors and capped curtain walling, as well as automatic swing doors, as part of the construction process.
The managing director at Dudley's Aluminium, Colin Shorney, commented: "We are really excited to be working with Barnwood Ltd as we return to Oxfordshire for another innovative project."
"Nebula will provide local businesses with flexible workspaces and opportunities to scale up in a sustainable setting," Shorney added.
Dudley's Aluminium has been providing complete in-house design and production facilities to its clients since 1933. The company's remarkable success in completing multiple projects within various sectors across the UK and Channel Islands has earned them a well-deserved reputation for quality.
Their commitment to excellence is reflected in numerous industry-related accreditations, including CHAS, Constructionline, and BM Trada. Additionally, the company is certified to manufacture enhanced security products in line with PAS24:2016 and BS 4873.
