The International Amsterdam Motor Show has published that the exclusive Minotto Barchetta will be on exhibit at the coming up event. It is the first time that Minotto Barchetta can be applauded by the general public.
The Barchetta is Dutch inception and is compared with the iconic Ferrari F40, especially because of its amazing appearance and raw driving characteristics.
The Minotto Barchetta is known to be a monster on the road. The builder, the Dutchman Hans Teijgeler, has only used the very best materials, by using carbon fiber and Aluminum, the car weighs less than 900 kilograms. From 0 to 100 km/h it can race up in 3 seconds.
Hans's idea was to provide a beautiful classic car with modern technology. That combination also makes the Minotto so unique. The best of a classic appearance with a modern engine, that sounds too good to be true. Yet he succeeded. A little patience was needed for this: it took about eight years to perfect the concept.
Hans indicates that he wanted to build a car that also has a fantastic driving experience at 240 km/h. Hans articulates nicely “I was able to drive almost all fast and modern Italian cars. All fantastic cars, but with one common problem: they are far too capable for the public highway. ”
So he started to build a brutal car. The Minotto Barchetta has had its latest updates and is ready to show the world what has been missed over the past eight years. The Minotto Barchetta makes its appearance on the Car Catwalk and can be seen in Hall 7 from 9th to13th April’20 during the International Amsterdam Motor Show in Rai Amsterdam.
