
Shanghai Metals Market data showed that aluminium billet inventories rose for the third consecutive week on greater arrivals in Wuxi and Nanchang cities. Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China stood at 107,100 tonnes as of Thursday September 12, up some 1,700 tonnes from 105,400 tonnes on Thursday September 5.

Inventories of aluminium billet in Foshan, Guangdong and Wuxi, Jiangsu rose 100 tonnes and 1,600 tonnes from Thursday September 5 to stand at 49,000 tonnes and 22,000tonnes. Stocks in Changzhou, Jiangsu remained unchanged at 13,600 tonnes on Thursday.
Aluminium billet stocks in Nanchang, Jiangxi increased by 2,000 tonnes from Thursday, 05 September. Inventories stood at 12,500 tonnes, from 10,500 tonnes. But the inventories of aluminium billet in Huzhou, Zhejiang declined by 2,000 tonnes from Thursday September 5 to stand at 10,000 tonnes today.
The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) increased by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 14,150 per tonne and RMB 15,000 per tonne on Thursday, 12 September 2019. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) climbed by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 15, 200 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (ZLD102 and ZLD104) also increased RMB 100 per tonne each to stand at RMB 15,300 per tonne and RMB 15,250 per tonne.
The prices of aluminium alloy in East and South China markets stood at RMB 14,150 per tonne and RMB 14,100 per tonne, up RMB 50 per tonne each.
