
On Thursday, October 13, aluminium billet inventories in China dwindled by 10,000 tonnes or 9.29 per cent across five major consumption areas. The inventory settled at 97,600 tonnes from 107,600 tonnes recorded on Monday, October 10. Shipments from Yunnan and Xinjiang to Guangdong were decreased by suppliers. The pandemic epidemic in Xinjiang hindered transportation, which decreased arrivals at consumption centres.

The aluminium billet inventory in Foshan has declined by 3,400 tonnes or 4.79 per cent to settle at 67,500 tonnes, from 70,900 tonnes recorded on Monday.
As of Thursday, October 13, the inventory in Huzhou and Wuxi has descended by 3,500 tonnes or 26.92 per cent and 2,100 tonnes or 16.53 per cent to rest at 9,500 tonnes and 10,600 tonnes.
On the same day, in Changzhou and Nanchang, the inventories slumped by 300 tonnes and 700 tonnes to stop at 5,700 tonnes and 4,300 tonnes.
