China's A00 aluminium ingot price closes the week with a hike of RMB 210/t; Alumina price slips by RMB2/t

On Friday, October 14, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price expanded by RMB 220 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,700 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 18,680 per tonne and RMB 18,720 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 110 to RMB 70 per tonne.

The price in Chongqing has surged by RMB 250 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,790 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Hangzhou and Wuxi have grown by RMB 220 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Foshan and Gongyi have increased by RMB 210 per tonne to score at RMB 18,720 per tonne and RMB 18,550 per tonne. Tianjin’s price has surged by RMB 200 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,680 per tonne. The prices in Shenyang and Tianjin have gone up by RMB 190 per tonne to land at RMB 18,650 per tonne and RMB 18,700 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price has increased by RMB 2 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,833 per tonne. The prices have remained restrained in most of the significant provinces except in Guizhou, where it has climbed down by RMB 25 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,810 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has gone down by US$10 per tonne to settle at US$310 per tonne. The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has hiked by RMB 208 per tonne to close at RMB 19,321 per tonne.

The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) has grown by RMB 200 per tonne to rest at RMB 27,000 per tonne and RMB 28,000 per tonne.

As per the data, the aluminium alloy (A356) price has expanded by RMB 200 per tonne to stop at RMB 20,200 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to stand between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has gone up by RMB 50 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 20,500 per tonne. The average price for the former is likely to close between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price is expected to range between RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 20,600 per tonne.
