Gurmesh Singh, the Nationals Member for Coffs Harbour stated a $260,000 grant will help Advance Metal Industries Australia to build a new fabrication facility to augment its present product offerings, turning out13 sustainable jobs for the Mid North Coast.

“The new facility will be fitted out with machinery that will allow the company to speed up manufacturing times from three days to two hours for its custom-made aluminium windows, doors, and balustrades”, Singh said.

Gurmesh further added: “The new fabrication shop will significantly reduce manufacturing time, allowing Advance Metal Industries to increase its output and take more orders for doors and windows to meet the growing demand for their custom-made aluminium products.”

“This grant will help the company to upgrade its warehouse storage space to stockpile popular products and invest time and money to upskill staff, who will be crucial for the future success of the company.”

Paul Toole, the Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW said: “The $130 million Regional Job Creation Fund aims to create more than 6,500 new direct jobs in regional NSW by providing incentives to expand and keep operations in regional areas.”

“Regional NSW is the engine room of the state and helping companies like Advance Metal Industries expand its operations stimulates local and regional economies, boosts livelihoods and creates local employment opportunities,” Toole added.

The Minister further said: “Providing businesses with the opportunity to fast track their growth plans and expand their operations means they can increase their production, attract more investment and create new jobs today, which is great news for the local economy.”
