In 2018, Algeria’s import of aluminium cans was registered at 3654 tonnes and the expenditure occurred was $23.54 million, whereas, in 2019, the import illustrated growth by 142.50%, as the import volume surged to 8861 tonnes and the expenditure leapt to $54.78 million.

Algeria’s import of aluminium cans in 2020 reflected de-growth by 13.99%, as the import volume dipped to 7621 tonnes and expenditure also fell to $39.71 million.
The import for 2021 is evaluated with a further downfall by 26.57%, as the import volume is expected to plunge and remain at 5596 tonnes and the expenditure to stand at $29.51 million.
The major trading nations for Algeria’s import of aluminium cans are Czech Rep., Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Morocco, etc.
