Al Arabia Company for Manufacturing and Painting Aluminium is gearing up to ramp up its annual exports to over 10,000 tonnes with a strategic makeover. This transformation into a fully integrated industrial complex, complete with cutting-edge production lines and a range of expansion projects, has strengthened its competitive edge in both local and global markets.
Tracing back to 2020
Chairperson and Managing Director Ibrahim Al-Batran shared that the company’s growth journey started in 2020. This came in with a significant chunk of his investments from Morocco to Egypt by acquiring the firm. This initiative was all about building a strong industrial player and boosting investor confidence in the Egyptian market.
The Director further pointed out that the company has rolled out two new aluminium extrusion and production lines, achieving full integration across all stages of manufacturing. He also mentioned that exports remain a key part of the company’s growth strategy, with 70 to 75 per cent of total output now making its way to regional and international markets.

Fast-forward to 2024
At the beginning of 2024, the company rolled out an ambitious expansion plan, launching a cutting-edge aluminium painting line capable of producing up to 1,200 tonnes each month. They also introduced a third extrusion line to boost their overall production capacity even further.
Sustainability and efficiency efforts
In line with its commitment to sustainability and efficiency, the firm has set up a state-of-the-art aluminium recycling plant and relocated its administrative offices to the CPC Industrial Complex, next to the new coating and packaging facilities. The Director pointed out that this move has significantly improved operational efficiency and enhanced collaboration between departments.
Exports in the last quarter
He further mentioned that in the last quarter, the company successfully exported 1,500 tonnes of aluminium products, marking a remarkable 75 per cent increase compared to previous periods. These products were sent to important markets like Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon and Canada. The Director highlighted that this achievement reflects growing global confidence in the quality of the company’s products and its commitment to meeting international standards.
The Chairperson emphasised that the company is committed to focusing on growth and innovation to help boost Egypt's industrial and export goals, reinforcing the firm's position as a key player in the regional aluminium manufacturing industry.
