Aditya Aluminum organizes Mega SHG Convention

A total of 36 SHGs comprising of 410 members have joined the convention. Women Empowerment was the main objective of the convention. Keeping the objective in view, various fronts of women empowerment like bringing overall development in both social and economic scenario of the women folk, were discussed amongst the dignitaries and the members present in the convention.
The members were also being taught on the different ways and methods to keep themselves empowered both economically and socially.
Speaking on the occasion as the Chief Guest, Mr Sitanshu Tripathy, the Special Land Acquisition Officer (Spl LAO) of Sambalpur said that “the development of the society depends largely upon the women empowerment and both are complementary and supplementary to each other”.The Chief Speaker of the Convention Mrs Chhabirani Mohanty, the CDPO of Rengali Block, deliberated upon the different Govt schemes and programmes for the women and child welfare and said that those schemes are largely beneficial for the women empowerment.
Also speaking on the occasion Mr Avijit Basu, the HR Head of Aditya Aluminium assured total support of the company for the women folk of the peripheral villages in general and of the SHG members in particular. Among others the HR team members, the CSR team members Mr Tushar Dhal and Mrs Lopamudra Mishra of Aditya Aluminium and the members of the SFA NGO were present on the occasion and coordinated the entire show which was a great success.
