A00 aluminium price edges higher by RMB150/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) slips 1.02%

A00 aluminium ingot price edged higher by RMB 150 per tonne or 1.07 per cent to stand at RMB 14120 per tonne on Tuesday, 17 December 2019, from Monday’s price of RMB 13970 per tonne on December 16. The price is expected to range at RMB 14100-14140 per tonne. Spot aluminium contract is likely to be traded at a premium of RMB 80-120 per tonne.

In Foshan and Wuxi, aluminium ingot price climbed by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 130 per tonne to stand at RMB 14120 per tonne and RMB 14140 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 14100-14140 per tonne and RMB 14130-14150 per tonne. Hangzhou price came in at RMB 14150 per tonne and is expected to range at RMB 14140-14160 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi and Gongyi stood at RMB 14095 per tonne, RMB 14120 per tonne, RMB 14190 per tonne and RMB 14075 per tonne, up RMB 115 per tonne, RMB 110 per tonne, RMB 160 per tonne, and RMB 140 per tonne. Chongqing aluminium price inched up by RMB 170 per tonne to RMB 14150 per tonne.

Aluminium Alloy (A356) price stood at RMB 14800 per tonne. This marks a rise of RMB 150 per tonne after two back-to-back drops on December 16 and December 13. The average price is expected to range at RMB 14750- 14850 per tonne.

The prices of aluminium alloy (ZLD102) and aluminium alloy (ZLD104) increased by RMB 100 per tonne each to stand at RMB 14800 per tonne and RMB 14750 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 14650- 14950 per tonne and RMB 14650- 14850 per tonne.
