
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has hiked by RMB 210 per tonne to stand above RMB 21,000 per tonne on Wednesday, April 13. SMM data has found that the price has come in at RMB 21,060 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 21,040 per tonne and RMB 21,080 per tonne. The spot contract is likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.

In Foshan and Chongqing, A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 230 per tonne and RMB 225 per tonne, respectively, to RMB 21,734 per tonne and RMB 21,110 per tonne, while the price in Gongyi, Hangzhou, and Shenyang has increased by RMB 210 per tonne to stand at RMB 21,050 per tonne, RMB 21,130 per tonne, and RMB 21,110 per tonne. In Wuxi, Linyi, and Tianjin, primary aluminium ingot price has built up by RMB 205 per tonne, RMB 190 per tonne, and RMB 110 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,055 per tonne, RMB 21,190 per tonne, and RMB 21,160 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also recorded a hike after incessant declines since April 6. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has gained RMB 200 per tonne to stand at RMB 22,500 per tonne. The average prices are estimated to range between RMB 22,400 per tonne and RMB 22,600 per tonne.

But on the other hand, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 21,500 per tonne and RMB 22,500 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, Australian alumina FOB price has slipped by US$2 per tonne to stand at US$385 per tonne, marking the ninth consecutive day of decline.

Aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.20 per kg to rest at RMB 22.7 per kg, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 22.6 per kg and RMB 22.8 per kg.
