
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has opened the week on Monday, April 19, with a slight drop of RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 18,120 per tonne, following a week-long surge from US$ 17,380-18,130 per tonne during April 12-16, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. Today, the average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,100 per tonne and RMB 18,140 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 30-10 per tonne.

However, in the major Chinese cities, A00 aluminium ingot price has recorded hikes. For instance, in Gongyi, the price has grown by RMB 40 per tonne to RMB 18,010 per tonne, followed by an increase of RMB 35 per tonne to RMB 18,135 per tonne on April 19. In Hangzhou, primary aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 25 per tonne to RMB 18,155 per tonne, while the price in Tianjin and Linyi has climbed by RMB 20 per tonne to RMB 18,080 per tonne and RMB 18,030 per tonne, respectively. In Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 15 per tonne, while the price in Foshan and Wuxi has inched up by RMB 10 per tonne.
Primary aluminium input costs, including aluminium powder have remained restrained. Aluminium alloys prices have neither recorded any changes on April 19. While aluminium alloy (A356) price is muted at RMB 18,850 per tonne, aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) prices have continued to stand at RMB 18,100 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne, respectively.
