
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has jumped by RMB 510 per tonne on Thursday, December 23, marking hike for the second consecutive day after an intermitted decline on December 21. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the growth today has again sent the primary aluminium ingot price to above RMB 20,000 per tonne. With average prices to range between RMB 20,050-20,090 per tonne, A00 aluminium ingot price is standing at RMB 20,070 per tonne as of December 23. The spot contract is likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 180-140 per tonne.

In Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has expanded sharply by RMB 540 per tonne to RMB 20,030 per tonne, while the price in Foshan and Shenyang has hiked by RMB 520 per tonne to RMB 20,170 per tonne and RMB 20,020 per tonne, respectively. In Hangzhou, the primary aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 505 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,075 per tonne, and that in Wuxi and Chongqing has increased by RMB 500 per tonne to RMB 20,065 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne, respectively.
Backed on the hike in A00 aluminium ingot price, aluminium alloy (A356) price has sharply risen by RMB 500 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,050 per tonne as of December 23, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 22,000 per tonne and RMB 22,100 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have grown by RMB 200 per tonne to close at RMB 20,600 per tonne and RMB 21,800 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, the caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has climbed up by RMB 40 per tonne to stand at RMB 900 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 840-960 per tonne, learned SMM.
Aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.50 per kg to clock in at RMB 22.25 per kg on December 23.
