According to the International Aluminium Institute, alumina production in Africa & Asia (ex-China) stood at 1.070 million tonnes during March 2023, which reflected an increase of 2.88 per cent month-on-month. The output grew in March after a decline of 7.06 per cent in the previous month from 1.119 million tonnes to 1.040 million tonnes. Aluminij, the Bosnia-based aluminium producer, has signed a deal with Glencore and Duferco to produce 100 per cent green products.
