According to the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) on Friday, November 22, the price of alumina has added RMB 18 per tonne to settle at RMB 5,691 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Shanxi, Henan and Shandong have grown by RMB 25 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 5,750 per tonne, RMB 5,695 per tonne and RMB 5,670 per tonne.
In Guizhou and Guangxi, the prices have moved up by RMB 10 per tonne to halt at RMB 5,640 per tonne and RMB 5,630 per tonne. The alumina prices in regions like Lianyungang and Bayuquan have remained unchanged at RMB 6050 per tonne.
A00 aluminium ingot
On the other hand, the domestic price of A00 aluminium ingot dropped by RMB 90 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,610 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60 to RMB 100 per tonne. As per the analysis, the average prices may range between RMB 20,590 per tonne and RMB 20,630 per tonne.
As per the SMM price analysis, the domestic aluminium ingot prices in Gongyi, Foshan, Wuxi, Hangzhou and Tianjin have declined by RMB 90 per tonne to dock at RMB 20,540 per tonne, RMB 20,520 per tonne, RMB 20,610 per tonne (Wuxi and Hangzhou) and RMB 20,640 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Chongqing and Linyi have lost RMB 70 per tonne to reach RMB 20,590 per tonne and RMB 20,630 per tonne. In Shenyang, the price has descended by RMB 30 per tonne to arrive at RMB 20,640 per tonne.
Other prices
On the same day, the price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) fell by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 27,600 per tonne and RMB 28,600 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has also inched down by 0.1 per kg to settle at RMB 23.1 per kg.
The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12), aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A380) have dipped by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,800 per tonne, RMB 21,050 per tonne and RMB 21,800 per tonne. For aluminium alloys (ADC12), the average prices may stand between RMB 20,700 per tonne and RMB 20,900 per tonne. As per the SMM data, for (A356), the average prices may orbit between RMB 20,900 per tonne and RMB 21,200 per tonne. For (A380) the average prices may range between RMB 21,700 per tonne and RMB 21,900 per tonne.
