China’s A00 aluminium ingot price expands by RMB170/t; Alumina price loses RMB4/t

On Friday, June 2, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China has hiked by RMB 170 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,570 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 18,590 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB o to RMB 40 per tonne.

The A00 aluminium ingot prices have experienced growth in all the provinces. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has surged by RMB 170 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 18,570 per tonne. On the same day, in Gongyi and Foshan, the prices have ascended by RMB 160 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,380 per tonne and RMB 18,660 per tonne. Chongqing and Linyi's prices have grown by RMB 150 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 18, 520 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Shenyang and Tianjin have increased by RMB 140 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,540 per tonne and RMB 18,570 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has gained RMB 150 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,258 per tonne. The average alumina spot price in China has decreased by RMB 4 per tonne, halting at RMB 2,844 per tonne. The price in Shandong has dropped by RMB 15 per tonne and by RMB 5 per tonne in Guangxi to come in at RMB 2,825 per tonne and RMB 2,775 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have surged by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has expanded by RMB 150 per tonne to close at RMB 19,300 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,500 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have surged by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 18,650 per tonne and RMB 19,650 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to range between RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 18,750 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average prices may stand between RMB 19,550 per tonne and RMB 19,750 per tonne.
