On Wednesday, November 23, the average alumina spot price in China has gone up by RMB 4 per tonne to close at RMB 2,769 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Shandong, Shanxi and Guangxi has increased by RMB 5 per tonne to halt at RMB 2,705 per tonne, RMB 2,775 per tonne and RMB 2,670 per tonne.
The A00 aluminium ingot price in China has, on the other hand, descended by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 18,970 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,950 per tonne and RMB 18,990 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 40 to RMB 80 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the price in Gongyi and Linyi has dropped by RMB 60 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,860 per tonne and RMB 19,020 per tonne. In Foshan and Wuxi, the A00 aluminium ingot price has slipped by RMB 50 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,030 per tonne and RMB 18,965 per tonne. Hangzhou, Chongqing and Shenyang witnessed the same price drop to peg at RMB 18,980 per tonne, RMB 19,080 per tonne and RMB 18,930 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price has climbed down by RMB 40 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,000 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has descended by RMB 50 per tonne to reach RMB 19,631 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have declined by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 27,000 per tonne and RMB 28,000 per tonne.
The aluminium alloys (A356) price has lost RMB 50 per tonne to score at RMB 20,200 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20,000 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne. On the other hand, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has remained restrained at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne.
