Xinjiang Technology launches its Phase II aluminium & titanium alloy production project
On September 5, the Phase II project of Haimen District Xinjiang Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. was officially launched, focusing on aluminium and titanium alloy production. This marked the completion and commencement of operations for a major provincial industrial initiative—China Aerospace Equipment's new titanium alloy material project, with a total investment of RMB 2 billion.
The Phase II alloy project builds on the success of the Phase I magnesium alloy new material precision initiative. Since construction began in December 2022, the project has completed the development of a titanium alloy casting workshop, a comprehensive precision processing workshop, and titanium and aluminium alloy production lines.
It now features automated precision forming production lines for titanium alloy components and high-performance precision forming production lines for aluminium alloy components. The facility has an annual production capacity of 100 tonnes of precision-formed titanium alloy components and 500 tonnes of aluminium alloy components.
