VMC Specialty Alloys LLC, also known as Vista Metals Georgia, functions under a licensing arrangement with Vista Metals Corp, headquartered in Fontana, CA. With Vista Progressive Metals LLC, a key player in aluminium lithium products, this consortium stands at the forefront of manufacturing speciality aluminium products. Its products cater to diverse sectors, including aerospace, commercial aircraft, defence, automotive, and general industrial applications.

"In addition, we are completing final equipment installation in our new world-class finishing facility, which is a critical part of this expansion phase."
Vista Metals has unveiled plans for a $60 million investment in a fresh site catering to the aerospace sector with specialized aluminium offerings as part of its expansion strategy. This addition, situated in Bowling Green, Kentucky, will augment Vista Metals' current operations in California and Georgia.
Andy Primack, the CEO of Vista Metals, said, "We are excited to announce our new location in Kentucky, with a plan to bring over 50 new jobs to the area."
"Bowling Green is a growing city with a strong industrial business base. Critical to our success is its proven track record of attracting qualified manufacturing talent, the close interaction between business and education, and its long-term community development plan. We look forward to growing our business and contributing to this great community."
The new Kentucky site will serve the aerospace extrusion, forging, and rolling markets with downstream processing and value-added products. It will also cater to commercial aviation and extend its support to defence, automotive, and various industrial sectors. With initial site groundwork underway, Vista Metals is gearing up to gradually expand to meet the rising demands in its primary markets.
