<p>Nearly 105 tonnes of dismantled automotive shredded aluminum scrap from the US were recently rejected by Dalian Customs for containing higher levels of impurities and dust than national standard.</p>

<p>This batch of aluminum scrap, declared for imports by one company in Liaoning Province, was intended to be processed into aluminum ingots after sorting for exports. </p>
