
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 2,480 tonnes of US aluminium scrap to Taiwan in September 2021, showing a month-on-month hike of 70 per tonne or by 2.90 percent. In August 2021, 2410 tonnes of US aluminium scrap was exported to Taiwan, showing a decrease of 30 per tonne from 2,440 tonnes in July 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium scraps export to Taiwan in September 2021 plummeted by 1,010 tonnes or by 28.93 percent from 3,490 tonnes.
From January to September, the exported aluminium scraps to Taiwan closed at 22,000 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount totalled at 30,500 tonnes.

According to the data shared by the USGS, the total amount of US aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to Taiwan for September 2021 closed at 2,480 tonnes, showing a year-on-year descend of 1,270 tonnes. The total amount recorded for September 2020 settled at 3,750 tonnes.
