
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 20,300 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars to Mexico in October 2021, showing a month-on-month decline of 1,800 per tonne or by 8.14%. In September 2021, 22,100 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars were exported to Mexico, showing a hike of 2,100 per tonne from 20,000 tonnes in August 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, sheets and bars exported to Mexico in October slumped by 4,800 tonnes or by 19.12% from 25,100 tonnes in October 2020.
From January to October, the exported aluminium plates, sheets and bars to Mexico closed at 224,000 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount was recorded at 221,000 tonnes.
As per the data shared by the USGS, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to Mexico for October 2021 pegged at 40,200 tonnes, showing a year-on-year 11,700 tonnes. The total amount registered for October 2020 stood at 51,900 tonnes.
