
As per the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 20,800 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars in November to Mexico. On a month-on-month scale, there was a hike of 500 per tonne or 2.46%. In October 2021, 20,300 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars were exported to Mexico, showing a sharp decline of 1,800 tonnes from 22,100 tonnes in September 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, sheets and bars exported to Mexico in November 2021 moved down by 2,300 tonnes or by 9.95% from 23,100 tonnes in November 2020.
From January to November, the exported aluminium plates, sheets and bars to Mexico pegged at 245,000 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount registered at 244,000 tonnes.
Based on the data from USGS, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to Mexico for November settled at 43,600 tonnes, showing a year-on-year downfall of 6,300 tonnes. The total amount for November 2020 came in at 49,900 tonnes.
