Turkish manufacturer to produce aluminium frame for European bicycle industry

A Turkish manufacturer of refrigerator is set to start aluminium frame production for electric bikes in Turkey. The recent reshoring initiative is focussed in helping companies to make their supply chain flexible in the European bicycle industry.

According to reliable industry source report, the Turkish company has now started manufacturing robotized aluminium frame on a large scale basis after collaborating with one of Europe’s biggest bike makers. The company will manufacture about one million aluminium frames annually.

The large Turkish company with a strong finance base has the potential to raise its total production capacity of four million aluminium framesets. The company is processes thousands of tons of raw aluminium with the help of its 15 or so extruders to make the bicycle frames.

Turkish company follows the initiative of Portuguese based company Triangles by three famous parts makers which have started to manufacture robotized aluminium frame production. At present, Asia is the producer of all aluminium frames.
