Three-month LME aluminium stood higher at US$1,908.5/t; SHFE aluminium slid 0.37%
Three-month LME aluminium climbed 0.82% to close at US$1,908.5 per tonne on Wednesday, with open interest rising to 747,000 lots. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$1,870-1,930 per tonne today.
As of Wednesday November 4, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1877 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1877per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1885.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1885.50 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1924 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1924 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1450025 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1218725 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 231300 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1880.64 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2251 per tonne on Thursday, 05 November 2020.
The most-traded SHFE 2012 aluminium contract closed the day 0.37% lower at RMB14,750 per tonne on Wednesday, with open interest falling 5,494 lots to 131,000 lots.
The contract rose 0.34% to settle at RMB14,800 per tonne on Wednesday night. The contract is likely to trade between 14,600-15,000 per tonne today.
