Three-month LME aluminium remained unchanged to close at US$2,273.5 per tonne on Monday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$2,240-2,280 per tonne today.
As of Monday, March 29, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2255.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2255.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2279per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2279 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2284 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2284per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1917075 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1267750 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 649325 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2288.89per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2646 per tonne on Tuesday, 30 March 2021.
The most-liquid SHFE 2105 aluminium contract rose 0.11% to settle at RMB17,425 per tonne on Monday night. It is likely to trade between 17,200-17,600 per tonne today.
