Three-month LME aluminium fell to close at US$2,487.5/t; SHFE aluminium dropped 1.2%
Three-month LME aluminium fell 0.74% to close at US$2,487.5 per tonne on Wednesday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$2,480-2,560 per tonne today.
As of Wednesday, July 7, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2508.50per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2508.50per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2528 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2528 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2499.50 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2499.50per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1526275 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 908225tonnes and Cancelled Warrants were 618050 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2518.36per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2907 per tonne on Thursday, 08 July 2021.
The most traded SHFE 2108 aluminium contract fell 1.2% to close at RMB18,930 per tonne Wednesday. The most-liquid SHFE 2108 aluminium contract fell 0.34% to settle at RMB18,790 per tonne on Wednesday night. It is expected that the contract will trade between RMB18,700-19,100 per tonne today.
