
As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, dropped 18,000 tonnes this week. The stocks stood at 858,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 08 July 2021.

Primary aluminium stocks in Wuxi continued to contribute to the decrease, marking a drop of 18,000 tonnes. The inventories came in at 306,000 tonnes. Shanghai, Nanhai and Chongqing stocks fell by 2,000 tonnes, 5,000 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes to stand at 87,000 tonnes, 235,000 tonnes and 2,000 tonnes. Linyi stocks remained unchanged at 3,000 tonnes.
Inventories of primary aluminium in Hangzhou, Gongyi and Tianjin stood at 91,000 tonnes, 62,000 tonnes and 62,000 tonnes, an increase of 1,000 tonnes, 6,000 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes from last week.
