Three-month LME aluminium closed higher at US$2,260/t; SHFE aluminium gained 0.23%
Three-month LME aluminium advanced 1.35% to close at US$2,260 per tonne on Tuesday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$2,230-2,280 per tonne today.
As of Tuesday, April 6, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2247 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2247 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2268.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2268.50 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2294.50 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2294.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1882275 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1343850 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 538425 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2257.26per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2666 per tonne on Wednesday, 07 April 2021.
The most-liquid SHFE 2105 aluminium contract finished the day 0.23% higher at RMB17,515 per tonne on Tuesday. Open interest fell 3,672 lots to 197,427 lots. The most-active SHFE 2105 aluminium contract settled at RMB17,585 per tonne in overnight trading. It is likely to fluctuate between 17,400-17,600 today.
