Three-month LME aluminium settled 0.11% higher at US$1,770 per tonne on Monday.
As of Monday August 24, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1735.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1735.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1776 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1776 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1853.50per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1853.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1572950 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1342775 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 230175 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1779.70 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2126 per tonne on Tuesday, 25 August 2020.

The most-liquid SHFE 2009 aluminium contract finished the day 0.44% lower at RMB14,755 per tonne on Monday. Open interest fell 7,855 lots to 105,000 lots.
The contract closed 0.2% firmer at RMB14,690 per tonne in overnight trading. It is expected to move between 14,550-14,800 per tonne today.
