Three-month LME aluminium closed at US$1,871 per tonne on Monday; SHFE aluminium gained 2.95%
Three-month LME aluminium climbed 1.24% to close at US$1,871 per tonne on Monday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$1,850-1,890 per tonne today.
As of Monday November 2, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1834.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1834.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1839.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1839.50per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1882 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1882 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1461025 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1219725 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 241300 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1846 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2242 per tonne on Tuesday, 03 November 2020.
The most-liquid SHFE 2012 aluminium contract climbed to a more than two-year high at RMB14,850 per tonne, ending the day 2.95% higher at RMB14,825 per tonne on Monday.
The most-liquid SHFE 2011 aluminium contract rose 0.03% to settle at RMB14,830 per tonne on Monday night. It is likely to trade between 14,700-15,000 per tonne today.
