Three-month LME aluminium closed 0.39% higher on Wednesday; SHFE aluminium contract shed 1.59%
Three-month LME aluminium rose 0.39% to close at US$2,457.5 per tonne on Wednesday. As of Wednesday July 21, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2432 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2432 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2449 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2449per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2437 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2437 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1434125 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 897125 tonnes and Cancelled Warrants were 537000 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2438.61 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2953 per tonne on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
The most liquid SHFE 2109 aluminium contract shed 1.59% to end at RMB18,885 per tonne today, with open interest increasing 8,438 lots to 225,555 lots. The most-liquid SHFE 2108 aluminium contract rose 0.68% to settle at RMB19,165 per tonne on Wednesday night.
