They have joined forces with prominent Dutch sailing yacht designers - Dykstra Naval Architects, who are providing the yacht's exterior's make, layout and naval architecture with an enviable list of project credentials, including their iconic sailing yacht projects such as S/Y Black Pearl and S/Y Hetairos and Australia's leading aluminium multihull specialists - One2Three Naval Architects.

Mark Stothard, Owner and Director of Echo Yachts stated when the project was announced, "This new superyacht will truly elevate the term 'Green superyacht design' with its low-resistance catamaran hull form, sail-powered capability, and other emission-reducing technologies."

An incredibly efficient aluminium hull structure is coupled with twin Dynarigs, providing a total sail area of some 1660 square metres for eco-efficient long-range cruising. Reduced weight, simplicity and operational ease will additionally characterise this project.

"One2three are honoured and thrilled to be selected by Echo Yachts and Dykstra to undertake naval architecture and structural design for another groundbreaking Echo Yachts superyacht," expressed Steve Quigley, Owner and Director of One2Three Naval Architects at the time of the announcement. "The Echo/Dykstra full-custom 57m sailing catamaran will cement Echo Yachts' Australian build capability on the world stage for unique superyachts."

These aluminium and multihull design experts were responsible for the Naval Architecture of the international award-winning 84-metre aluminium trimaran superyacht M/Y White Rabbit, produced in 2018, and 56-metre catamaran superyacht M/Y Charley 2, introduced in 2023.
