Sumitomo hooks single-crystal diamond on ALNEX ANX Series PCD Cutter yielding high-surface quality aluminium items

Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. decided on July 2022 to upgrade its 'ALNEX ANX Series' with a new WS Type wiper blade that uses a chemical vapour deposition (CVD) single-crystal diamond 'SUMICRYSTAL V SCV10' as its cutting edge. Sumitomo's high-efficiency cutter for aluminium alloys, the ALNEX ANX Series, upon installation of the single-crystal diamond at its cutting edge, can successfully produce burr-free mirror finished products, giving the company an advantage over its competitors.
