Australian yacht builder SilverYachts has reportedly unveiled a new line from its aluminium superyachts portfolio at Singapore Yacht Show 2019. Named SpaceCat and designed by long term SilverYachts collaborator Espen Øino, the new vessel is 35.5-metre long power catamaran.

The vessel is environmentally friendly thanks to its lightweight low-resistance aluminium hull and features spacious living areas within a 13.3-metre beam. It has an external space of 575-square-metre and 300-square-metres of living areas inside.
The total accommodation capacity of the yacht is for 12 guests and 8 crews. There are master suit, two doubles and two twin cabins, with one equipped with two Pullman beds. The crew of 8 can be housed in a double captain’s cabin, two twins, and one triple cabin.
A swimming pool aft and vast deck storage space for tenders and toys are some of the key exterior features of SpaceCat, powered by four Volvo IPS 1050 engines to a top speed of 21 knots and cruising speed of 16 knots.
Construction of the vessel’s first unit is scheduled to begin in May 2019, at the yard’s new facility in the Guangdong Province, China.
