Second phase of Guangyuan’s RMB390 million recycled aluminium project to begin construction in 2024

Implemented by Jiaxing Jinmao Aluminum Industry, with a total investment of around RMB 390 million, the second phase of the production line of Guangyuan’s recycled aluminium project is expected to start construction by 2024. Situated in the Zhuangzi Industrial Park, inside the Qingchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone, it is a Chengdu-Guangzhou industrial cooperation project that will be built in two stages.

In the first phase, two production lines for recycled aluminium bars with an annual production capacity of 50000 tonnes and an annual output value of RMB 1 billion will be built. Four recycled aluminium ingot production lines with an annual production capacity of 100000 tonnes will be constructed in the second phase.

The initial stage of the project involved the commencement of an annual production line for 50,000 tonnes of aluminium rods in March of this year, followed by equipment debugging. A trial production was conducted at the end of August. The subsequent phase of the project aims to produce 100,000 tonnes of recycled aluminium ingots annually, with construction of the production line scheduled to commence in 2024.
