En+ associate KraMZ Ltd to continue the RUSAL partnership

United Company RUSAL has extended an existing aluminium sales contract with En+ associate KraMZ Ltd in 2026. Under this agreement, RUSAL’s subsidiary JSC UC RUSAL TH is to supply primary aluminium of approximately 75,000 tonnes to KraMZ against a transaction worth USD 220 million. RUSAL has secured a significant off-take commitment, with the pricing based on standard benchmarks by London Metal Exchange and Fastmarkets premiums. It gives the company a visible long-term edge and solidifies its position in the value chain of the En+ group.

Glencore-RUSAL contract extension

Ever since their foundational partnership in 2006, the international trading house Glencore and RUSAL have signed subsequent aluminium supply contracts, such as the 2020-2024 deal. Later on, they confirmed the extension of this agreement into next year after the amount traded till that point added up to a fraction of the maximum volumes of the contract.

According to analysis by official sources, throughout the 4-year course, Glencore purchased an estimated one-third of the maximum 5.24 million metric tons.

“The remaining volumes will be taken at a later date,” the source said.
