Rise in the average operating rate of Chinese A356 aluminium alloy producers

The 1.25% month-on-month uptick in operating rate allowed output at the surveyed producers to grow 2,000 tonnes on the month to 108,000 tonnes in June, SMM survey showed.
Besides, processing fees for A356 aluminum alloy in China also gained 50 to 700 yuan ($ 113) per tonne, spurred by growing demand at home and abroad.
Aluminum alloy producers are unlikely to cut output in July, SMM foresees, though aluminum wheel rim production will slow in July and August due to high temperatures and slack demand in summer months. This will exert downward pressure on processing fees for A356 aluminum alloy.
