Responsible Whatr exhibits recyclable aluminium packaging at SIAL Expo 2022

India's first natural spring water beverage brand, Responsible Whatr, displayed recyclable aluminium packaging at the SIAL Food and Wine Expo 2022 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. To decrease the consumption of single-use plastic bottles, Responsible Whatr offers non-alcoholic beverages in a recyclable and sustainable aluminium can.

One of the most significant trade fairs in the world for the food & hospitality industry is the SIAL (French: Salon International de l'alimentation). The whole food industry is inspired by SIAL events. Its trade shows and exhibits are held across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and North America.

"Aluminium was a natural choice for packaging as it does not contribute to the heaps of landfills and is endlessly recyclable without any loss in quality in contrast to glass and plastic. It does not alter the freshness of the water when exposed to light and heat and the water remains fresh. It is an extensively researched product that caught our attention while finding an eco-friendly solution," said Ankur Chawla, co-founder of Responsible Whatr.

Director Ankur Chawla claimed that Responsible Whatr results from a thorough investigation and a commitment to provide the cleanest, freshest natural spring water that is obtained and packaged responsibly.

Composed of 70 per cent recycled aluminium, the cans are a perfect and sustainable alternative to single-use plastics. Also, the aluminium cans keep the beverage fresh for longer by protecting it from light. They also chill quicker and maintain a colder temperature longer.

"We are proud to be utilizing aluminum cans, made out of 70% recycled aluminum, in the process doing our bit towards a better and more sustainable future for our planet. We believe that a lot of synergies could be explored while being responsible towards the ecosystem and creating a responsible experience.
