Red Magic to launch its first-ever aluminium unibody gaming laptops

{alcircleadd}

The company's first gaming laptop, Titan 16 Pro, is built with an aluminium unibody chassis, enabling the machine to be lighter in weight, lighter on the pocket au contraire stronger inside out. This device boasts a sleek, premium matte finish and weighs 2.4 kg.

Intel’s 14th-generation Core i9-HX processor and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB of VRAM enable this laptop to easily handle modern AAA games, 4K video editing, and 3D rendering.

The laptop has an IPS LCD with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 px, 240Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering outstanding colour accuracy consistent with Nvidia G-Sync for smoother gameplay. The RGB-lit full-sized keyboard with a number pad also adds to the gaming appeal of the laptop.

Connectivity is easy with three USB-A ports, one USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, an audio jack, an SD card reader, and an Ethernet port, making it adaptable for various purposes.

The laptop comes with a strong cooling setup consisting of two large fans, multiple heat pipes, and excellent airflow.

The Titan 16 Pro delivered high frame rates in demanding games and impressive benchmark scores during tests.

Downsides:

  • The fan noise is clearly audible even in idle mode.
  • The 16 GB DDR5 memory is expandable. However, the single-channel setup might restrict multitasking until upgraded.
  • The comparatively smaller Enter key and distracting typeface might take some time to adjust.
