Recycled aluminium weekly recap: EcoCentral’s Yellow wheelie bin includes recyclable materials like aluminium cans; India's imported aluminium scrap prices decline marginally on limited trade

The Ministry for the Environment's Covid-19 Response and Recovery Fund refurbished EcoCentral's Materials Recovery Facility on Parkhouse Road in Sockburn, a service that manages garbage in Christchurch. From Monday, April 17 through Saturday, April 22, A&W Iron and Metal will celebrate Earth Week for the 25th consecutive year. Due to price adjustments on international commodities markets like the London Metal Exchange (LME) and the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), the price of imported aluminium scrap in India somewhat decreased. The 29 members of Alupro penned a letter to Thérèse Coffey MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs, on April 11. In it, they pleaded with her to immediately guarantee that a deposit return scheme (DRS) in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland further raises aluminium recycling rates without endangering the market.
