From wide aluminium casting to foil stock for thin-gauge applications, JUPALCO placed the depth of India’s downstream manufacturing capabilities at the centre of its participation in Aluminium Bharat 2026. The Jupiter Group company exhibited its flat-rolled aluminium portfolio at the four-day event, held from 26–29 September at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, where it participated as a Silver Sponsor.

A key focus was JUPALCO’s ability to combine width and precision. Its manufacturing facility has continuous casting lines spanning up to 2.3 metres and can produce flat-rolled aluminium products up to 2,300 mm wide. The company showcased its foil stock for the manufacture of ultra-thin gauge 6 micron foil, alongside fin stock, closure stock and other specialised flat-rolled aluminium products.

The exhibition also featured LSKB Aluminium Foils, another Jupiter Group company and a leading manufacturer of aluminium foil. LSKB showcased its portfolio to visitors, highlighting its complete product portfolio.

Kunal Bajaj, Promoter, Jupiter Group, said: “Aluminium Bharat brought together customers and industry partners who are looking closely at what India can manufacture at scale and at demanding specifications. At JUPALCO, our focus is on both ends of that requirement: the width to serve large-scale industrial applications and the precision needed for thin-gauge foil stock. Our connection with LSKB takes that capability further into downstream foil manufacturing. Conversations at the exhibition reinforced the opportunity to develop more of this value chain in India for domestic and global customers.”

Across the four days, the JUPALCO team met customers, manufacturers and technology providers from India and overseas to discuss product requirements, new applications and opportunities for collaboration. With an installed annual capacity of 1,20,000 metric tonnes, the company is building its portfolio around the changing needs of downstream aluminium users.
