Orange Bikes has focused on swiftness and racing since its beginnings in the late 80s. Their latest addition, the Stage 7, is an enduro race bike with 29" wheels, 170/165mm travel, and designed for the fastest courses in the world. The bike's lightweight aluminium frame is the most amazing feature that aids in agile manoeuvres.
This bike combines Orange's new STRANGE power link with big travel and a full 29" setup for a bike crafted for speed. The Switch 7, Stage 7's sibling, has been well-received and has proven its worth in compact and competitive world-class enduro events.
However, Stage 7 was specifically created to focus on speed and uses feedback from the World Cup team to create a warp-speed vehicle.
The bike's frame originating from the UK has been produced by skilled craftsmen using aerospace-grade aluminium and CNC components, resulting in a strong, lightweight, and fully recyclable product. The Stage 7's trunnion-mounted shock provides incredible sensitivity, allowing for a smoother ride.
The STRANGE power link is at the heart of this impressive bike. Special Technology RANGE or STRANGE has been a crucial part of Orange's product development for years. It has been used in a variety of projects, including prototype bike frames and general components like grips.
The STRANGE power link is responsible for Stage 7's progressive shock curve, which gives riders a bottomless feeling while allowing for the use of high-volume air cans or coil shocks. As the rear shock travels, the leverage ratio drops from 3.04 to 2.32.
The bike comes with a 5-year bearing warranty for the original owner, and original owners beyond that period can take advantage of heavily subsidised pricing.
